Mediation is a non-adversarial process that offers a forum for individuals who are in dispute to meet with a neutral third-party to try to reach a resolution. Mediation can be with or without attorneys. The mediation process often results in a mutually-agreed upon resolution which reflects the particular needs of the individuals involved. Mediation provides an alternative to costly and lengthy litigation and may be used at any time during the process.
